ABSTRACT

Maxillofacial surgery is newly developed and interested in a subspecial field of Otolaryngology. Facial trauma has been varied with the developement and speed-up of transportation, and facial injury has been gradually closed up as our clinical problems recently. The accurate and detailed analysis and records of injury will not only draw satisfactory result out and but also reduce various complication in advance. Multiple facial bone injury as like this case ; fracture of alveoar, fracture of pyramidal type, craniofacial disjunction and fracture of medial aspect of the maxilla, was a very rare instance. The opportunity for successful outcome with our present method applying pull-out wire, suspension wire, dental arch bar with intermaxillary wire fixation and open reduction with internal wire fixation, is excellent. The authors presented the method and discussed it with some literature to the multiple facial bone fracture.
