ABSTRACT |
Intraorbital subperiosteal abscess is collection of the pus between the periosteum and bony
wall of the orbit, and most commonly caused by sinusitis. If subperiosteal abscess is not appropriately treated, it may lead to visual loss, brain abscess, and death. The treatments of the subperiosteal abscess are systemic antibiotic therapy and surgical
drainage. Recently we experienced 3 cases of subperiosteal abscess and succesfully managed it through endoscopy, therefore we present these cases with a review of literature.
