Rhinoliths are rarely seen in the nasal cavity and ethmoid sinus. They usually have a nucleus of bacteria, blood, pus, cells, mucus, crusts, or some foreign material. They are usually composed of calcium and magnesium salts, principally carbonate and phosphate, with sodium chloride. They are usually unilateral and vary in size or more in weight. The condition is found more commonly in adults than in children and more often in the female than in the male. Recently, the authors experienced a case of huge rhinolith in the left nasal cavity and ethmoid sinus in 25-year-old male, and removed it by intranasal approach. We reported on the case with a brief literature.
