ABSTRACT |
Herpes zoster oticus is a disease associated with otalgia, vesicular eruption on the involved side, facial pararlysis, hearing disturbance, tinnitus, vertigo and other symptomes. James Ramsay Hunt named herpes zoster oticus as Ramsay Hunt syndrome after intensive studies and elaborations. Author had experienced five cases considered as Ramsay Hunt syndrome by clinical symptoms and signs from June 1979 to August 1980. We reported the result of treatment for five cases with nicotinic acid, vitamine B complex, aureomycin, prednisolone and etc. and we reviewed the literatures. |
