Since the pathogenesis of laryngeal papilloma has not been clearly defined, the modality of its treatment has also been quite diverse up-to-date. In reviewing the recent papers on this complicated clinical problem, the authors have learned that 5-FU is effective for treating laryngeal papilloma. Thus we have also applied 5-FU locally on laryngeal papilloma of child patient and we are under the strong impression that it has produced a therpeutic effect. It is the case report along with literature survey.
