Giant cell granuloma(or giant cell reparative granuloma) which mostly appears in the jaw is a rare tumor in the paranasal sinuses. The common symptoms are the presence of a mass and the deformity of the maxilla. The computerized tomography demonstrates calcifications within the soft tissue density of the tumor. Pathologically, giant cell granuloma presents numerous, uniformly distributed giant cells in the stroma of the spindle cells. The giant cell granuloma responds to excision or probably radiation therapy, of which prognosis is good. Recently, we have experienced a case of giant cell granuloma in right maxillary sinus involving the orbit and the ethmoid sinus in a 14 year-old male. We report this case with brief review of the literatures.
