Two Cases of Lupus Vulgaris

ABSTRACT

The author experienced two cases of Lupus Vulgaris. Histopathological examination revealed several Langhan's giant cells surrounded by chronic inflammatory cells and amorphous caseation necrosis. Case one was a 188 year-old Korean female who had had deep ulceration and destruction covered with yellowish crust on upper part of nasal septum, both nasal vestibule, nasal tip and both ala nasi for 10 years duration. Case two was a 29 year-old Korean female who had had deep ulceration covered with yellowish crust on right nasal vestibule for 5 months duration. These two cases were successfully treated with triple antituberculous therapy.
