2 Cases of Granulomatous Polyp in the Larynx following Endotracheal Anesthesia

ABSTRACT

Granulomatous polyp of the larynx caused by trauma during endotracheal anesthesia is rare. The authors have experienced 2 cases of laryngeal granulomatous polyp.

Case 1 : 29-year-old house wife had been suffered from hoarseness for 2 months after C-section under endotracheal anesthesia. A polyp mass was noticed on posterior one third of right cord.

Case 2 : 39 year-old house wife had been complained of hoarseness for 2 months after radical hysterectomy. A polyp mass was noticed on posterior one third of left vocal cord.
