A Case of Laryngeal Stenosis Treated with a Plastic Resin Mold

ABSTRACT

A Case of corrosive stenosis of the epiglottis of larynx due to lye ingestion, suffering from severe dyspnea and dysphagia is reported, and is also discussed on the treatment which was corrected surgically, by thyrotomy with a plastic resin mold especially made for this case which was kept in the larynx for 10 weeks, and was brought and exellent result.
