A Case of Lipoblastoma of Retropharyngeal and Parapharyngeal Space

ABSTRACT

Lipoblastoma is a rare, benign neoplasm that occurs almost exclusively in infants and children. It involves most commonly the soft tissue of the lower and upper extremities, but is very rare in head and neck. It can be treated by local excision repeatedly. Recently, the authors have experienced a case of lipoblastoma of retropharyngeal and parapharyngeal space and reported with review of literatures.
