ABSTRACT |
Osteoma of the external auditory canal is an uncommon lesion and represents as an unilateral pedunculated mass, attached to the tympanosquamous or tympanomastoid suture. Almost always the tumor locates in the outer half of the bony ear canal. A recommended treatment of choice is total surgical exenteration under local anesthesia. This paper reviewed a case of an osteoma of the external auditory canal with conductive hearing loss.
