ABSTRACT

The authors experienced a case of nasopharyngeal polyp in a 20 years old male. His chief complaint was progressive bilateral nasal obstruction for 3 months. Polyp occupied both nasopharynx the left choana, originating from the left posterior ethmoid cells. Since we couldn't rule out nasopharyngeal angiofibroma preoperatively, we used the lateral rhinotomy approach with lip splitting. We successfully removed the polyp of 5×3.5×1.8cm in dimension.
