A Case of Foreign body in Ethmoid Sinus(A Large Fragment of Glass Bottle Foreign Body in the Left Ethmoid Sinus)

ABSTRACT

A case of foreign body in the ethmoid sinus was observed in a 19 year-old man. He was injured on the left orbital area by brocken bottle. A piece of brocken glass bottle entered through left medial canthal area and remained in the left ethmoid sinus. This accident resulted in left upper and lower eyelids laceration, corneal laceration with iris an pupil prolapse, subconjunctival hemorrhage and epistaxis. The foreign body was removed by external ethmoidectomy approach in success.
