ABSTRACT

There are several surgical approaches for otosclerosis, in which partial stapedectomy has a high cure rate with a low complication. In 1956, Hough in the U.S.A. developed and has advanced in until now. Other otologists also like to perform that procedure. We has got a patient who had bilateral otosclerotic symptoms for 6 years, and done the partial stapedectomy bilaterally with a improving air conduction of 28dB in the left and 26dB in the right for 8 years and 8 months postoperatively. Now we report these cases with a literature.
