ABSTRACT |
Pyogenic granuloma arising from nasal cavity during pregnancy is an uncommon benign vascular tumor. This benign tumor is histologically same with the granuloma gravidarum arising from mucous membrane of the mouth and gums, and it is characterized intermittent bleeding with ulceration and nasal obstruction. Recently the authors had experienced a case of huge pyogenic granuloma arising from right nasal septum during pregnancy. The patient treated by local excision and electrocoagulation for control of bleeding and removal of remained remnants.
