ABSTRACT |
Warthin's tumor occurs almost exclusively in the parotid gland. It is characterized clinically by a well defined round or ovoid swelling either in the parotid gland or in the periparotid areas. Histologically it is composed of epithelial papillary processes projecting into the dilated cystic spaces, and these processes are supported by lympoid stroma containing germinal centers. Recently, we had experienced a case of Warthin's tumor of the parotid gland in a 49 years old male patient who had been treated with surgical removal. So we report this case with review of the literature.
