ABSTRACT |
Malignant fibrous histiocytoma, a tumor also referred to as malignant fibrous xanthoma and fibroxanthosarcoma, is predominantly pleomorphic sarcoma usually occurring in the deep soft tissue of adults and characterized by storiform of cartwheel-like growth pattern. This tumor occurred principally as a mass on an extremity or in the abdominal cavity or retroperitoneum and rarely in the head and neck region. Recently, author experienced a case of malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the right external auditory canal and so report with some review of literatures.
