ABSTRACT |
Nasopharyngeal angiofibroma is an uncommon tumor of the nasopharynx usually involving nasal cavity, paranasal sinus and pterygomaxillary space. It is found mainly in pre or pubescent male. Even though the tumor is histologically benign, its locally extensive nature and high vascularity have contributed to significant morbidity and mortality. Recently, the authors experienced a case of huge nasopharyngeal angiofibroma occuring in 12 years old male patient and successfully treated via lateral rhinotomy approach. The authors report this patient with literatures.
