ABSTRACT

Fibroma has been applied to a group of subcutaneous lesions of disputed etiology and nomenclature. But these lesions are all varient of single pathologic process. Fibroma is the most common benign tumors on oral mucous membrane, occuring as a discrete superficial pedunculated mass. Authors experienced a case of fibroma on the hard palate, which was found in 49 year-old female. The tumor was easily removed and the biopsy showed thick fibrocollagenous tissue covered by squamous mucosa.
