The 66 patients(male 28, female 38) were given prick tests for allergic rhinitis during for 19 months at the Chosun University Hospital allergy consultation room. For these tests allergens for diagnosis produced by the Bencard Co. were used and the following results were obtained. 1) Of a total of 66 patients, the ratio male to female was to be 1 to 1.4 and the highest percentage of patients were in their twenties. 2) The most serious symptoms of patients were in January and February, the winter season, and the most possible causative factors of allergic rhinitis is cold. 3) During a day, the allergy became worst in the early morning, being 37.9% of the patients. 4) In duration of the disease, 3-4 years was shown to be most frequent 43.9%. 5) From the results of the prick test, as an antigen of allergic rhinitis, mixed grain dust was highest with 10.7%, and next in order were house dust(9.3%), straw dust(8.4%), hay dust(8.1%), D. pter. (7.8%) and feathers (6.6%). 6) A high percentage of patients(68.5%) were shown to have 2 to 10 combined allergens. 7) In the nasal eosinophilia test, among a total of patients 66, in 31 patients, the number of eosinophilia was shown to increase among them 25 patients (80.6%) showed a positive skin reaction.
