An Epidemiologic Study of the Chronic Paranasal Sinusitis

ABSTRACT

Durring the 2 years period from June 1976, to May 1978, on epidemiological study on chronic paranasal sinusitis was carried out with 214 patients who were severe cases to operate such as polypectomy, antrostomy, caldwell-Luc's operation under view of P.N.S. series and anterior rhinoscope. This study covered the incidence of chronic paranasal sinusitis and the relationship between chronic paranasal sinusitis and environmental factors, subjective symptoms and its mental and physical effects.
