The most common etiology is trauma, other causative factors include congenital malformations and infections such as syphilis, chicken pox, small pox, tuberculosis, rhinoscleroma, and leprosy. Recently, we experienced a case of atresia of Lt. nostril in a 16 years old female patient due to trauma when she was a child and performed triplanar W-plasty technique.
