A Case of Lymphangioma of the Tonsil

ABSTRACT

The lymphangioma of the tonsil is one of the very rare benign tumors. New and Childrey(1931) found sixty-three benign tumors of the tonsils during a study of 357 cases having tumors of the tonsils and pharynx. Fifty-five per cent(35 cases) were papilloma and lymphangioma was 1 cases. Recently studied a lymphangioma of the tonsil and we reported a case. A 14 years old male was admitted to the Red Cross Hospital under diagnosis of pendular tonsil, bilateral tonsillectomy was performed under local anesthesia. Pathologic finding was reported a lymphangioma of tonsil.
