Two Cases of Laryngeal Foreign Bodies

ABSTRACT

Laryngeal foreign bodies are not common among the foreign bodies of food and air passages. We report two cases of laryngeal foreign bodies who were admitted at the Dept. of otolaryngology, SNUH, this year. The patients were a 3 year old, and 11/2 year old male, and the foreign bodies were a piece of shell and a fish bone, respectively. The cases were interest in the view point of its long period of lodgement in the larynx, as the shell piece removed at 7th day and the fish bone at 30th day of intake, respectively.
